BOARDS & COMMISSIONS


There are many opportunities to take an active role in your local government. Residents help shape the future of our community by serving in advisory capacities to the Lacey City Council. The Board of Park Commissioners, Library Board, and Historical Commission also include opportunities for student representatives.

Consider attending one or more meetings of the board or commission of your choice. Members will welcome your presence and you will gain a first-hand understanding of how residents can make a difference.

The Lacey City Council is currently recruiting for vacancies on the Historical Commission and Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, and youth representatives to serve on the Board of Park Commissioners, Library Board, and Historical Commission.  These vacancies are open until filled.
