Sign Types- A "Monument Sign" is a ground-mounted sign that is higher
than 3 feet and attached to the ground by means of a wide base of solid
appearance.
- A "Low-Profile Monument Sign" does not exceed 5 feet
in height and 18 square feet.
- An "Informational Sign" is
a sign within a commercial subdivision indicating only the name of a
particular use within the subdivision and the direction in which it is
located. They are a maximum of 4 square feet and are designed in a
uniform manner using a single background color and typeface.
- An
"Internal Circulation Sign" is used to aid customers in circulation
within parking lots and helps identify entrances, exits, and customer
drive-throughs. They may not include logos or advertising. They are a
maximum of 2.5 feet tall, 2 feet wide with 6-inch high lettering.
- An "Off-Premises Direction Sign" is used to direct customers to
businesses located on a private easement or local access street. A
business must not be able to locate on a sign for the complex, needs the
sign to provide directions to access the site, and be located within a
commercially zoned area in the Urban Growth Area. The sign shall be
shared with another monument sign and not have sign area greater than 6
square feet. This does not permit the business with the on-site sign to
have more sign area.
