Uniform Crime Report

 

Uniform Crime Reporting is a voluntary law enforcement program that allows the ability to gain a nationwide view of criminal activity based on the submission of statistics by local law enforcement agencies per Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) guidelines.  The UCR provides base statistics on the frequency of specific criminal activity.
