Fingerprinting
The Lacey Police Department offers fingerprinting services to the public. A valid picture ID is required for all applicants who wish to be fingerprinted.
Fingerprinting hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Applicants who bring fingerprinting cards from other agencies are asked to leave all information on the cards blank, as our system will print the information automatically.

Fingerprinting cards (optional)
Note: Our fingerprint system uses the FD 258 card on a LiveScan machine.
If you already have fingerprint cards, we ask that you do NOT fill
them out as our machine will automatically complete them.
Excluding fingerprinting for
Concealed Pistol License (CPL) applications, fingerprinting cards will be sealed in an envelope and returned to the applicant.

Please allow at least 15 minutes
to complete the fingerprinting process. Time will vary depending on the condition of your prints.
The cost for this service is $10.87 per person. Cash, personal check, Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted.
