Garage Sale Permits
—No Longer Required as of May 21, 2012
On May 10, 2012, the Lacey City Council passed Ordinance 1392, removing the license requirement for garage sales, effective May 21, 2012.
Although Lacey residents will no longer need a license to hold a garage sale, other elements of the city code relating to garage sales will remain if effect. The Lacey Municipal Codes 5.34.010 - 5.34.040, prohibits each sale from exceeding four consecutive days and a single address to no more than four sales per calendar year.
Prior to May 21, 2012, submit a completed

Note: When mailing or faxing, please allow enough time before your sale to receive the permit by mail.
