|CITY OF LACEY 2017 WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BEGINS  |

LACEY, WA, February 28, 2018: Work has begun on the City of Lacey’s 2017 Water Improvements Project. The project includes replacement of approximately 4,000 feet of water main in Lacey. Work is currently underway on 14th Avenue SE, 16th Avenue SE, Magnolia Street, and Brunswick Street. The City does not expect any road closures; however, motorist may experience minor traffic delays. The contractor plans to complete the project by the end of May 2018.

LACEY, WA, February 27, 2018: Monday, March 5 - Friday, March 9, Willamette Drive NE, between Borealis Court NE and Orion Drive NE, will be reduced to one lane each direction to make a water and stormwater connection. Work will take place from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. March 5, and 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the remainder of the week. Motorists can expect minor traffic disruptions and alternate routes are advised during project hours.

LACEY, WA, February 21, 2018: The City of Lacey invites public input on its Depot District Subarea Plan that will set the direction for reinvestment and revitalization of the area. The City and Studio Cascade, project consultants, offer several opportunities for the public to drop by during Studio* hours and also participate in activities Monday, February 26 – Wednesday, February 28. The events take place in the warehouse at 5700 Lacey Blvd. SE.
