LACEY, WA, May 25, 2018: To reduce peak demand during summer months, the City of Lacey’s mandatory alternate-day watering schedule for yards and outdoor landscapes will begin Friday, June 1, 2018. Alternate-day watering is mandatory for all Lacey water customers during June, July, August, and September.

LACEY, WA, May 16, 2018: The City of Lacey invites the community to attend the Draft Depot District Subarea Plan Open House on Tuesday, May 22, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Lacey Community Center (6729 Pacific Avenue SE). Open House attendees can view maps and displays, listen to a presentation at 7 p.m., and provide comment on the Draft Plan.

LACEY and OLYMPIA, WA, May 15, 2018: The Cities of Lacey and Olympia invite the community to the National Trails Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, to honor Senator Karen Fraser and enhance the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail (previously the Olympia and Lacey Woodland Trail). The event takes place at the bicycle roundabout on the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail near 3811 Pacific Avenue (where the Woodland Trail meets the Chehalis Western Trail).

LACEY, WA, May 4, 2018: In preparation for the celebration of Lacey History Month this July, Lacey's Historical Commission is accepting nominations for the 2018 Lacey Historian of the Year Award. Established in 2002, the award recognizes local residents and organizations that have made significant contributions to the preservation or promotion of Lacey’s history.

Open House attendees can view displays, listen to a short presentation at 6 and 7 p.m., and provide comment on the Draft Plan.
