LACEY, WA, April 5, 2017: The City of Lacey — one of the first cities in Washington to receive the National Arbor Day Foundation’s “Tree City USA” award — will soon mark its twenty-sixth consecutive year of earning the national recognition. The city will proclaim April as Arbor Month, and is encouraging residents and businesses to plant and properly care for trees.

LACEY, WA, April 4, 2017: The City of Lacey invites all S.T.E.M.- (science, technology, engineering, and math) related businesses, clubs, schools, and organizations to take part in the 4th Annual S.T.E.M Fair Saturday, May 20 at Huntamer Park in Lacey. Groups or businesses can join this event by engaging attendees of all ages (youth and adult) in various S.T.E.M.-related demonstrations or activities. This event provides an opportunity to share your mission, engage the community, and increase environmental education and awareness.

LACEY, WA, March 30, 2017: The City of Lacey invites the community to the Mayor’s Gala Friday, April 28, from 6–11 p.m. at the Saint Martin’s University Marcus Pavilion. The event, a fundraiser for the Lacey Veterans Services Hub, features the Aspire Middle School Jazz Band, live dance music with Crème Tangerine, a social hour, three-course locally sourced meal, dessert dash, silent auction, inspiring speakers, and more.
